Na poměrně neosídleném nebi českých strojově tkaných šátků vychází nová supernova – Loktu She. Název evokuje tradiční pomůcku k přepravě nákladu – sena, píce i dětí – loktuši a zároveň má geniální mezinárodní nádech.

On the relatively unoccupied heaven of the Czech machine-woven wraps emerges a new supernova – Loktu She. The name evokes the Czech traditional aid for carrying cargo – being it hay, forage or children – “loktuše” and it also has a brilliant international tint. Four ladies from Liberec plunged into it headfirst and Loktu She is preparing for us even clothes designed for babywearers.
You can follow Loktu She on FB: https://www.facebook.com/loktushe/?fref=ts
We have to wait still for their website.
The wrap has straight cut tapers and there is no label with a logo or washing instructions. At one taper, there are tested possible color variations - color changes from cream to dusky pink and gray-brown (I really like this one!). Wrap edges are hemmed in one direction - so there is the right and wrong side. The middle mark is on one side only. All of this may change in the final product – as this is only a testing prototype ;-)
Bird Garden is cream-colored and you can see finely decorated birds in lime leaves (leaf, heart-shaped linden tree as a Czech national and Slavic symbol of togetherness) in the weaving. I do not dare guess how much will be the weave prone to pulls, I was behaving too politely to the wrap for judging that :-)
At a first glance, Bird Garden reminded me of Oscha natural roses (Vanilla Roses I mean) – the look and the feeling.
The wrap tightens well and it embraces you. It is pretty flexible, but does not let go in the carry. It's very moldable and just the right amount of wrap in your hand, not making a giant knot - it's just darling!
The color, softness and delicacy are calling for wearing a small baby, but I was really comfortable with my pretty overgrown toddler.
Dear Loktu She, thank you for the opportunity to test Bird Garden and I wish you much success and I am looking forward to further loktuše!
